DCBIA Small Business Advocacy Briefing

August 18, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Many people think DCBIA only represents large businesses when in fact we advocate for businesses of all sizes and have a diverse membership – from small developers and architectural firms to art organizations, law firms and more. A little known fact that I want to shout from rooftops is that 1/3 of DCBIA’s membership are small businesses.

Over the last several years, DCBIA has led advocacy efforts to ensure that taxes and regulations are supportive of businesses to ensure the business community can thrive to create jobs and tax revenue the city needs to serve its residents and remain competitive. We have a lot more work to do as resources are strained during the rapidly evolving public health emergency.

During this briefing, we will update you on recent tax and regulatory changes and their impact to small business. You’ll also learn about DCBIA’s advocacy efforts to support small business and how you can get involved over the next few months.

If you are a small business, this is a must-attend webinar.

If you have small business tenants or friends, please forward this invite to them.
