DCBIA | DCRA Training: Understanding the Elements of the DCRA Certificate of Occupancy Process
November 14, 2016 @ 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
In July 2016, the Department of Consumer & Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) and the DC Building Industry Association (DCBIA) worked together to ensure that the Conditional Certificate of Occupancy process remained an essential element of DCRA operations for phased construction. DCRA has begun to revise its conditional CofO process and documentation requirements through open sessions with the design and contractor community over the last few months.
DCBIA and DCRA invite building owners, developers, architects, general contractors, engineers, and third-party consultants to a half-day training on the terms required and the documents necessary to obtain a DCRA-approved Conditional Certificate of Occupancy.
