30th Years of Community Building!
DCBIA will host its 30th Annual Community Improvement Day on September 30, 2023!
Later this year, DCBIA architect, general contractor, and other real estate will volunteer to raise funds and renovate a portion of Oxon Run Park adjacent to THEARC in Ward 8, DC. Comprised of three buildings, farm, and playground that sits on 16.5 acres, THEARC provides world-class services to the east of the Anacostia River community in Washington, DC.
Join DCBIA for our first committee planning meeting and design charrette. We will share the 2023 schedule, scope of work, community wishes and walk through to envision the Park’s potential with Rahsaan Bernard, President of Building Bridges Across the River.
