Janet Pogue McLaurin, AIA, FIIDA, LEED® AP, Global Workplace Leader & Principal at Gensler will lead a discussion on office workplace trends and explore the relationship between the design of the workplace and its impact on a company’s workforce and innovation. Ms. McLaurin will present findings from Gensler’s Workplace Surveys and Workplace Performance Index (see full bio below).

ABOUT JANET POGUE MCLAURIN, AIA, FIIDA, LEED® AP
Global Workplace Leader, Principal
Drawing on her experience in strategy, research and design, Janet is one of Gensler’s key thought leaders on how the physical workplace can impact work. Her entire career has focused on how design can boost performance, innovation and well-being in the workplace. She has been instrumental in the research underlying Gensler’s 2008, 2013, and 2016 Workplace Surveys and in the development of Gensler’s Workplace Performance Index (WPI), which measures workplace effectiveness and experience. Janet frequently discusses workplace design in media outlets such as Fast Company, The Wall Street Journal and Fortune. She also mentors and oversees joint research on architecture and design with Florida State University graduate students and has served as a guest faculty member at Harvard University’s Learning Innovations Laboratories (LILA).
