Building 4 Our Future: Four Generations and Beyond

April 6, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am

The Census Bureau recently announced that DC’s population has risen to a four-decade high of nearly 700,000, a boom driven largely by an influx of 900 new residents monthly.

New construction projects and traditional renovations aim to reach a new generation of workers. Are millennials and baby boomers driving the shift? How will the market respond and what will the future hold? Will DC’s Capitol Riverfront continue to see the greatest number of young people? What if millennials begin moving out for better jobs as recently surveyed? How would DC prevent this? Or do the same amenities that draw amenities begin to draw a different generation? Is this acceptable for DC’s future?

Join DCBIA for an engaging and topical discussion on the impact of four generations on DC real estate.
