DCBIA Housing Committee

The DCBIA Housing Committee is a strategic forum where industry leaders from all real estate disciplines collaborate to advance solutions-based proposals that enhance housing production, management, and financing in the District. By joining, members gain a seat at the table to engage with expert speakers and shape DC’s regulatory environment along with other DCBIA committees—tackling critical modernizations like single-stair construction for multi-family infill and the implementation of the RENTAL Act. Our work focuses on keeping the District competitive by identifying emerging opportunities in sectors like senior housing and navigating the “on-the-ground” complexities of green construction. We ensure the development community remains a driving force supporting a diverse, sustainable housing supply for all DC residents.
